Introduction

At DW Transportation, we provide independent transport planning advice to support planning applications throughout South Wales and across the UK.

Established in 2011 to provide practical, proportionate and commercially focused transport planning services, we work with developers, architects, planning consultants, businesses and private clients on projects ranging from small residential developments to complex commercial schemes.

Every commission is undertaken by an experienced transport planning professional, ensuring continuity, technical consistency and a personal service from initial enquiry through to project completion.

Our aim is simple: to provide clear, evidence-based transport planning advice that helps clients secure planning permission.

DW Transportation is led by Dean Watkins, a qualified Civil Engineer and an experienced transport planning consultant with more than 25 years' experience supporting planning applications across England and Wales. He is an Incorporated Engineer and Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation.

Throughout his extensive career, he has worked on a wide range of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, preparing Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, swept path analysis, access strategies and other transport planning documents for developers, architects and planning consultants.

As Managing Director of DW Transportation, he is personally responsible for every project, providing clients with direct access to the consultant carrying out the work from initial enquiry through to project completion.
